ENRICH Related & Vascular AOIs 2024
The 2024 AOIs for NICO’s Post-ENRICH IIS Program and other research initiatives revolve around three concepts. Study design should consider the full picture of care and to emphasize how NICO technologies contribute to advancing evidence across three key areas:
- Clinical Outcomes
- Efficiency
- Economics
Within these concepts, special interest is placed on Anterior Basal Ganglia Hemorrhage (ABG), as surgical treatment benefit for ABG remains undetermined.
Below is a short list of potential research opportunities which will be considered and reviewed by the IIS Scientific Review Committee:
High Level Clinically Vascular AOIs
- Outcome Driven Analyses Related to Anterior Basal Ganglia (ABG)
- Factors impacting functional recovery in ABG
- Expanded understanding of scientific signals in ENRICH for ABG
- Predictors of surgical outcome in ABG – negative, neutral, or positive
- Development and implementation of efficiencies in surgical management of ICH
- Clinical treatment protocols
- Operational Processes (especially for ABG)
- Reduced time intervals: ED to OR, OR set-up, surgical procedure
- Post-operative ICU days and patient management
